Convert any audio (M4A, WMA, WAV...) or video (MP4, AVI...) to MP3 without installing any software! CloudConvert does this conversion for you with highest quality. As default setting your MP3 file will be ~250 kbps VBR (variable bitrate) encoded. If you want to get a even higher bitrate (e.g. 320 kbps constant bitrate / CBR) you can use the advanced settings () to change the encoding.
The following options are available:
|Trim:||Cut the resulting MP3 at the beginning and / or the end. The start / end timestamp must be formated as HH:MM:SS.|
|Audio Variable Bitrate:||Set the target bitrate range. We recommend to use a variable bitrate (VBR) because the bitrate will be automatically adjusted to the actual needed bitrate. If you want to you can select and set a constant bitrate (CBR) here, also.|
|Audio Channels:||If you want to get mono instead of stereo output, you can set it here.|
|Audio Frequency:||The sample rate for the output MP3. Normally this is 44100 Hz.|
|Audio Normalization:||If your input audio is too quiet (or too loud) you can boost the volume here.|
MP3 is an audio format that can compress and encode an audio file. It uses the lossy compression algorithm to contain audio data. The lossy compression helps to reduce the data significantly without losing audio quality. MP3s are created using different bit rates maintaining the original quality.
