It is possible to use OpenStack Object Storage (Swift) as storage both for input and output of conversions. Therefore we recommend for security reasons to create a seperate username / password pair with limited rights.

The following example shows how to start such a conversion. Please read the documentation about the other necassary parameters for starting conversions.

Parameter Description
file * The filename, including path, of the input file. (Required)
input/output.openstack.authurl * The URL of the OpenStack Identity endpoint (without version). (Required)
input/output.openstack.username * The OpenStack username. (Required)
input/output.openstack.password * The OpenStack password. (Required)
input/output.openstack.container * The name of the OpenStack Storage Container where to download the input file or upload the output file. (Required)
input/output.openstack.region Specify the OpenStack region. (Optional)
output.openstack.path Filename, including path, for the output file. If this value ends with "/" the output file is stored in the corresponding directory. (Optional)
output.openstack.headers Object of additional headers to send with the upload request (for example X-Delete-After or X-Object-Meta-name). (Optional)
